The Napahai Wetland is located at the Hengduan Mountains, southeast of Tibet Plateau. Its geolocation is between 27°48′36″N and 27°54′27″N, 99°37′12″E and 99°40′30″E. It was recorded in the List of Ramsar Wetlands of international importance (site 1440) in 2005. The total area of the Napahai Wetland is 31.06 km2, the outline of the wetland reserve is 35.35 km. The wetland is 11.38 km long from north to south with 10 meters difference from 3,285 m in the north and 3,275 m in the south above sea level. The gradient is 0.88‰. Because of wea-
ther and special land form, the open water area changes in seasons. The largest area in September 2002 of the open water is 28.92 km2, which is 93.11% of the total area of the wetland; while only 1.52 km2 in the dry season in February 2006, which is 4.89% of the total area of the wetland. There is 19 times difference of the open water areas between rain and dry seasons in this area. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data format with the data size of 48 KB.
