  • Journal information：As a comprehensive academic journal in geography, the purpose of Scientia Geographica Sinica is to introduce the advanced academic papers, research achievements, new theories, new viewpoints, and new methods of geography in China, so as to serve economic construction, promote academic exchanges in the world, and prosper and develop the cause of geography science. Scientia Geographica Sinica publishes major research results on hot topics such as human land relationship, population, resources, environment, energy, sea level rise, climate change, and regional development. Meanwhile, it also supports relatively weak branches of disciplines, focusing on locality and comprehensiveness. Scientia Geographica Sinica is “new, refined, extensive, and flexible”, and promotes the intersection of geography and related disciplines. The readers and authors of Scientia Geographica Sinica are mainly young and middle-aged geographers.
