Abstract:

The spatiotemporal distribution dataset for response of rice phenology to climate Change in China (1981-2010) was developed based on the 39 rice research sites in China from 1981 to 2010 and the related climate records in each site. Climatic trend rate and sensitivity analysis methodology were adopted for the data analysis and development. The dataset includes: (1) geographic information of early rice, single rice, and late rice research sites and their seeding month (Fig1); (2) climate factors and their trend during whole growth season of rice from 1981 to 2010 (Fig2); (3) trends of 10 phenological dates of early rice, single rice, and late rice from 1981 to 2010 (Fig3-Fig5); (4) trends of three phenological stages (vegetative growing period, VGP; reproductive growing period, RGP; whole growing period, WGP) of early rice, single rice, and late rice from 1981 to 2010 (Fig6); (5) sensitivity analysis for the response of three phenological stages to climate factors (Fig7). The dataset is archived in .xlsx format and consists of 7 data files with a data size of 108 KB (compressed into one file, 90.5 KB). The analysis and discovery based on this dataset was published in the Climatic Change in Volume 157, Issue 2, 2019.
