The long-term sediment deposition and embankment reclamation formed a special distribution pattern of polder in Dongting Lake, China. The dataset covers the geographical areas of 20 counties (city, districts) around ongting Lake. The dataset includes the spatial data from 1949-1998, 1998-2008, 2008-2013 and the year of 2013.The polder data in 2013 is contacted from data integrating of remote sensing data with the in-situ surveying data. The spatial change information of polder during 3 historical periods were produced based on the water conservancy engineering maps digitized in ARCGIS. The dataset consisted of 4 data files in compressed .shp format for each of historical records.Browse
