Abstract:
In the third assessment report of IPCC, the vulnerability of ecosystem is expressed as the difference between the sensitivity and the adaptability of system to climate change. Based on 15-day GIMMS NDVI 3g.v1 data from 1982 to 2015, the total NDVI in each year is calculated to represent the annual productivity of farmland; the sensitivity, adaptability and vulnerability indexes of farmland productivity to climate change (as defined by the IPCC) were calculated for the concepts of inter-annual variability and its changing trend. The vulnerability assessment dataset of farmland productivity in Bangladesh, India and Myanmar based on annual accumulated NDVI (1982-2000 and 2000-2015) was developed. The dataset includes farmland productivity vulnerability data during 1982-2000 and 2000-2015. The dataset is archived in.flt and.tif data formats using Albers projection, the spatial resolution is 8 km. The larger the value is, the more vulnerable it is. The dataset consists of 8 data files with a data size of 3.5 MB. The analysis paper based on this dataset was published at Acta Ecologica Sinica, Vol. 39, No. 21, 2019.
