Abstract：
Martinique Island, part of overseas province of France, is located in the Windward Islands, Lesser Antilles of the West Indies in the eastern Caribbean Sea. It is 30 km separated from Saint Lucia Island in the south, and 40 km from Dominica Island in the north. The geo-location of the Martinique Island is between 14°23'41"N and 14°52'44"N, 61°13'45"W and 60°48'33"W. Its area is 1105.32 km² and the coastline is 477.01 km long. The provincial capital, Fort-de-France, is on Martinique’s west coast. The dataset was developed based on Google Earth images and related maps and references. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data formats, and consists of 24 data files with data size of 2.04 MB (Compressed to 1.40 MB in three files).
