Abstract:
The capability index of water and soil conservation of the Tibetan Plateau based on MODIS NPP data and the soil science database of China with the quantitative index method was calculated, the water and soil conservation function and classification according to the ‘Technical Guidelines of Ecological Conservation Red Line Delineation’ were evaluated. Then, the Yearly 1-km Raster Dataset of Water and Soil Conservation Function across the Tibetan Plateau (2001-2023) was developed. The dataset includes: (1) the capability index of water and soil conservation; (2) the grade assessment of water and soil conservation function. The time frequency of the data is one year, and the spatial resolution is 1 km. The dataset is archived in .tif format, and consists of 46 data files with data size of 568 MB (Compressed into one file with 180 MB). The data paper will be published at the Journal of Global Change Data & Discovery, Vol. 8, 2024.
