Abstract:
We collected, organized, and summarized information on China's photovoltaic (PV) equipment manufacturing enterprises based on enterprise information platforms such as Qichacha, Tianyancha, the National Enterprise Credit Disclosure System, and industrial research websites such as the Prospect Industry Research Institute, as well as Gaode Map to composite the spatial-temporal development dataset of photovoltaic equipment manufacturing enterprises in China (2006-2021). The dataset is consisted of: (1) data on the location of PV industrial parks in China (2021); (2) PV equipment manufacturing enterprises in China (2006-2021); (3) data on the number of new enterprises in the PV equipment manufacturing industry; (4) information on the new scale of the manufacturing industry in China's prefectural cities (2006-2021). The dataset is archived in .xlsx format, consists of one single file with data size of 729 KB. The analysis paper based on this dataset have been published in Geographic Research, Vol. 43, No. 3, 2024.
