Abstract:

The Lebanese Oasis is located at the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea, and in Western Asia, between 33°29′29″N and 34°30′27″N, 35°38′09″E and 36°33′23″E. Its formations are characterized by agricultural valleys and forested mountainous regions, rather than isolated vegetation patches in deserts. The area is 1,607.14 km² (Albers). It is composed of only 1 individual oasis. The dataset was developed based on Google Earth 2020 imagery and related maps. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data formats, and consists of 17 data files with data size of 9.20 MB (Compressed into 2 files with 3.56 MB).
