Abstract：
Chadian Oasis is located in the south-central of the Sahara Desert, between 12°48′19″N and 14°30′12″N, 13°28′25″E and 15°22′55″E. It is a core ecological and cultural hub in the Sahel region of Africa. Its formation is closely related to the hydrological system of Lake Chad, the fourth largest lake in Africa. This region not only serves as an important source of fresh water south of the Sahara Desert, but also is a critical lifeline for sustaining the lives of millions of local residents, protecting biodiversity, and driving regional economic development. The total area is 14,498.03 km² (Albers). It is one individual oasis. The dataset was developed based on Google Earth 2020 imagery and related maps. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data formats, and consists of 17 data files with data size of 6.35 MB (Compressed into 2 files with 2.78 MB).
