Abstract：
The Kolhumadulu Atoll, also called the Thaa Atoll, is located from2。9′49″N - 2。33′37″N， 72。54′24″E - 73。21′56″E, the southern part of the Maldives, its neighbor in north is the South Nilandhu Atoll, the Hadhdhunmathee Atoll in south. 70 islands are included in the Kolhumadulu Atoll, including Furedhifushi, Ruhthibirah, Omadhoo, Gaathurehaa, Dhururehaa, Kudakinbidhoo, Elaa, Vanbandhi, Kani, Veymandoo, Fushi, Fonaddoo, Kanimeedhoo, Thimarafushi, Usfushi, Gaadhifushi, Hulhiyanfushi, Fenmeerufushi, Kolafushi, Ekuruffushi, Bodurehaa, Olhudhiyafushi, Kaaddoo, Kudakaaddoo, Hathifushi, Fenfushee, Rihaamaafushi, Kalhudheyfushi, Fonidhaani, Lhavaddoo, Malefushi, Bodufinolhu, Kakolhas, Guraidhoo, Kandoodhoo, Dhiyamigili, Thinkolhufushi, Medhafushi, Mathidhoo, Ufuriyya, Koulhufushi, Olhufushifinolhu, Kalhufahulafushi, Dhonhanfushi, Hondeylifushi, Olhugiri, Dhiffushi, Maagulhi, Kurandhuvaru, Fushifaru, Gaalee, Burunee, Vilufushi, Kafidhoo, Kudadhoo, Vandhoo and Hirilandhoo Islands. The biggest island in the Kolhumadulu Atoll is the Thimarafushi Island with the area of 0.97km2. The total area of the islands in the Kolhumadulu Atoll is 9.22km2, the total coastlines of the islands is 116.32km long. The dataset was developed based on integration among the Google Earth images and related maps and records. The data is archived in .kmz and .shp data format with the compressed data size of 368KB.
