Abstract:
The Sisters Islands are part of the Little Andaman Group of India. It belongs to the South Andaman administrative district, part of the Indian union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The Sisters Islands lie only 11 km to Cinque Islands at its northwest. There are only two islands in the Sisters Islands, they are East Sister Island and West Sister Island, only 250 m distance is between the two islands. Its geo-location is 11°8′26″N-11°8′58″N, 92°43′22″E-92°44′4″E. The areas of the East Sister Island and West Sister Island are 0.40 km² and 0.08 km², respectively, and the coastlines are 2.81 and 1.11 km, respectively. The total area of the Sisters Islands is 0.48 km² and the coastline is 3.92 km. The dataset was developed based on the Google Earth and related maps and references. The dataset is consisted of 15 data files and archived in the .kmz and shp data formats with the data size of 40.7 KB (Compressed to 19.2 KB in two files).
