Abstract:
Po Toi Islands is located in the southmost of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (Hong Kong) in the South China Sea. It is separated from Hong Kong Island 1.8 km at its north. It belongs to the Lidao District of Hong Kong and its geo-location is between 22°9′19″N and 22°11′27″N, 114°14′10″E and 114°18′23″E. The Po Toi Islands consists of 22 small islands and islets, and the main islands includes Po Toi Island, Beaufort Island, Song Kong, Waglan Island, Mat Chau, and Castle Rock. In the Po Toi Islands, Po Toi Island is the largest island with the area of 3.75 km² and the shoreline of 11.60 km. The Beaufort Island is the second largest island, with the area of 1.21 km² and the shoreline of 5.34 km. The total area of Po Toi Islands is 5.62 km², and the shoreline is 26.08 km. The dataset was developed based on the Google Earth and related maps and references. The dataset is consisted of 17 data files and archived in the .kmz and .shp data formats with the data size of 177 KB (Compressed to 73.5 KB in two files).
