Abstract:
St Kilda Island, also called Hirta Island, is located in the northwest of Scotland and in the northeast of the Atlantic Ocean. It is the largest island in the St Kilda Islands. It is 63.40 km separated from North Uist Island in its southeast, and 5.94 km separated from Boreray Island in its northeast, and 0.4 km from Soay Island in its northwest. The St Kilda Island is in Scotland, United Kingdom. Its geolocation is between 57°49'43"N and 57°47'37"N, 8°37'04"W and 8°32'58"W. The St Kilda Island has a total area of 7.00 km² and a coastline of 20.48 km. The dataset is developed based on the Global Multiple Scale Shorelines Dataset Based on Google Earth Images (2015) and the relevant maps of the United Kingdom. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data formats, consists of 17 data files with data size of 152 KB (compressed to two data files with 72.1 KB).Browse
