Abstract：
Grande Comore，one of the island of Union of Comoros，located in northern end of the Mozambique Channel in the western part of the Indian Ocean. It is 39.21 km separated from Moheli Island in the southeast, and 296.14 km separated from the African continent in the west. The geo-location of the Grande Comore is between 11°21'53"S and 11°56'23"S, 43°13'43"E and 43°31'3"E. It is the largest island in Comoros Islands, its total area is 1016.14 km² based on the Albers projection, and the coastline is 231.82 km long based on the Lambert projection. The dataset is developed based on the Global Multiple Scale Shorelines Dataset based on Google Earth images (2015), combined with maps of Comoros. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data formats, consists of 24 data files with data size of 1.78 MB (compressed to three data files with 719 KB).
