Abstract:
Lockheed Island is the largest island in the Findlay Islands, which belongs to Queen Elizabeth Islands, Canadian Arctic Islands in the Arctic Ocean. The Lougheed Island is 99.67 km separated from Borden Island in the northwest, and 49.95 km separated from Cameron Island in the south, and 64.75 km separated from EllefRingnes Island in the northeast. The geo-location of the Lougheed Island is between 77°6'46"N and 77°46'10"N, 104°20'39"W and 106°6'56"W. It extends 79 km long from northwest to southeast, and 15-25 km wide. It belongs to Nunavut, Canada. The total area of Lougheed Island is 1342.47 km² based on the Albers projection, and the coastline is 295.05 km based on the Lambert projection. The dataset is developed based on the Global Multiple Scale Shorelines Dataset based on Google Earth images (2015), combined with maps of Canada. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data formats, and consists of 15 data files with data size of 254 KB (compressed to two data files with 176 KB).
