Abstract:
Rowley Island is part of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago and located in the Arctic Ocean. The Rowley Island is 10.36 km separated from Koch Island in the north, and 23.71 km separated from North Spicer Island in the south, and 75.21 km separated from Melville Peninsula in the west, and 32.97 km from Bray Island in the east. The geo-location of the Rowley Island is between 68°50'12"N and 69°23'46"N, 78°12'33"W and 79°24'51"W. It belongs to the Nunavut Region of Canada. The total area of the Rowley Island is 1114.47 km² based on the Albers projection, and the coastline is 257.72 km based on the Lambert projection. The dataset is developed based on the Global Multiple Scale Shorelines Dataset based on Google Earth images (2015), combined with maps of Canada and archived in .kmz and .shp data formats. The dataset consists of 15 data files with data size of 770 KB (compressed to two data files with 552 KB).
