Abstract:
Based on the in situ observation data from 1961-2013 from the metrological stations of Shanghai city and 10 nearby counties and districts, including the metrological stations in Minhang, Baoshan, Jiading, Chongming, Nanhui, Pudong, Jinshan, Qingpu, Shongjiang and Fengxian districts, Extreme Weather Statistics Dataset of Shanghai Megalopolis(1961-2013)was developed. The elements of the extreme weather is consisted of High temperature days(d), Torrential rain days(d), Thunderstorm days(d), Gale days(d), Fog days(d), Haze days(d), Temperature(℃) and Precipitation(mm). The dataset is consisted of four tables, table 1: Anomaly of annual average meteorological elements in extreme weather from 11 meteorological stations of Shanghai during 1961-2013; table 2: Averaged meteorological elements in extreme weather in 11 meteorological stations of Shanghai during 1961-2013; table 3: Monthly data of meteorological elements in extreme weather from 11 meteorological stations of Shanghai during 1961-2013; table 4: Annual average meteorological elements in extreme weather from 11 meteorological stations of Shanghai during 1961-2013. The data is archived in .xlsx data format with 54KB. The analysis paper was published at the Journal of GeoInformation Science, No.11, Vol. 17, 2015.
