Abstract:
For understanding how busy the railway passenger transport connects among China’s central cities, the O-D contact network methodology is used based on the online information of China’s railway schedule in 286 cities of China in September 2013. The O-D contact networkDataset on China’s Central Cities Railway Passenger Transport Connects (2013) is consisted of :Table 1: Statisticsof central city railway passenger transport in China; Table 2: Statistics of the main railway passenger transport contact directions and their intensity among major central cities of China; and Table 3: Statistics of the interactive railway passenger transport contact of central cities in China. The center cities geolocation GIS data is also included. The dataset is archived at the .shp and .xls formats, the compressed data size is 480KB. The research paper was published at the Journal of Geographical Research, No. 1. Vol. 34,2015.
