Linear regression, the decomposition of Empirical Orthogonal Function (EOF), Mann- Kendall Test and Pettitt Test are used to analyze the spatial- temporal distribution characteristics of precipitation variation based on the datafrom 1965-2013 from the 22 meteorological stationsin the Weihe River Basin and around area. The dataset is consisted of(1)GIS data of the meteorological stations in Weihe River Basin; (2) Theannual and seasonal precipitationand temporal coefficient data, the Mann-Kendall statistics of annual and seasonal precipitation data, and the annual and seasonal precipitation statistics in each of the 22 metrological stations. The dataset is achieved in the .shp and .xlsx format with the compressed data size of 36KB. The research paper on the dataset has published at the Journal of Natural Resources, No. 11, Vol. 30, 2015.
