Abstract：

There is a certain difference in accuracy of snow cover products from different sensors. The data authors chose the snow products from AVHRR, MODIS and IMS in north China(35。N-50。N, 100。E-130。E) from 2005 to 2008, and made consistency check on them using 3 index: Accuracy(ACC), Heidke skill score(HSS), and Bias score(BIAS) in spatial and temporal. The dataset includes: (1) Daily pixel numbers of cloudless and snow cover in the AVHRR, MODIS and IMS data in north China from 2005 to 2008; (2) Daily BIAS, false alarm ratio, hit rate, ACC and HSS data among IMS, AVHRR and MODIS snow products in north China from 2005 to 2008; (3) The month average of ACC, BIAS and HSS among AVHRR, MODIS and IMS snow products from January 2005 to December 2008; (4) The spatial distribution of pixel numbers, ACC, BIAS and HSS between AVHRR and IMS snow products in north China from November 2007 to April 2008. (5) The spatial distribution of pixel numbers, ACC, BIAS and HSS between AVHRR and MODIS snow products in north China from November 2007 to April 2008. The dataset is archived in the .xlsx and .txt data formats with the total compressed data size of 2.3MB. The related paper was published at the Journal of Geo-information Science, No.11, Vol.17, 2015.
