Abstract:
The Digges Islands located in the eastern of the Canada's Hudson Bay and west of the Ungava Peninsula. The geo-location of the Islands is 78°06′52″W - 77°38′09″W, 62°32′06″N - 62°35′37″N. It is part of the Canada Arctic Archipelago. There are two major islands in the Digges Islands; they are West Digges Island and East Digges Island. The area of the West Digges Island is 55.24 km², and the coastline is 61.21 km; while the area of the East Digges Island is 37.22 km², and the coastline is 31.55 km. The total area of the Digges Islands is 92.63 km², and the coastline is 95.84 km. The Digges Islands belongs to the Qikiqtaaluk Region, Nunavut Territory, Canada. The dataset is developed based on the Google Earth images and the referenced maps. The dataset is archived in both .kmz and .shp data formats with the compressed data size of 180KB.
