Abstract:

The indoor residential housing facility rates dataset in each of counties of China (Data unavilable for Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan) was developed based on the data availability of residential housing tap water, kitchen, toilet, shower at county level by the sixth census statistics data of China and the maximum method, which is used to standardize the allocation rate of the four facilities from 0 to 1. Further, the quadrilateral chart method is used to calculate the composite index, which is the comprehensive availability rate of residential housing indoor facilities. This dataset includes the data records of availability rate of residential housing tap water, kitchen, and toilet in each of counties of mainland of China. The dataset is archived in .xlsx data format in a single data file with the data size of 306 KB. The finding paper based on this dataset was published at the journal of Progress in Geography, Vol. 35, No.2, 2016.
