Abstract:
End-member modeling analysis and validation dataset of grain-size distribution of Borehole DK-12, Jilantai-Hetao Basin, China was developed using Bayesian end-member modeling analysis (BEMMA) method and the grain-size data of samples from the DK-12 core. The analyzed and the clay mineral combination data, as well as previous pollen assemblage data were used as data validation indicators in the Dengkou sub-uplift at the western part of the Jilantai-Hetao Basin, China. The dataset was consisted of: (1) Geolocation of DK-12; (2) DK-12 grain-size distribution data; (3) DK-12 clay mineral assemblage data. The dataset is archived in .kmz, .shp and .xlsx data format with data size of 566 KB (compressed to 2 zip files with data size of 513 KB). The analysis paper based on the dataset was published at the Journal of Palaeogeography, Vol. 20, No. 3, 2018.
