Abstract:
Based on the integral approach proposed by Perron J. T. (2013), the steepness values of two steady reaches of the Buyuan River in the upper Lancang-Mekong were obtained, and the corresponding paleo-longitudinal profiles were re-constructed accordingly. The morphological dating method proposed by Demoulin A (2011, 2012) was used to estimate the decline time of the latest erosion base level in the basin. Finally, the incision rate and drainage re-organization analysis dataset of Buyuan River Basin in the upper Lancang-Mekong of China since the Late Pleistocene was developed. The dataset includes: (1) paleo-profiles and modern stream powers of the main channel; (2) χ values of the steady-state reach; (3) Morphological dating data; (4) strip profiles; (5) Strata along the main channel; (6) Chi values of stream network at 30 m, 100 m and 200 m. The dataset is archived in .xlsx and .shp data formats, and consists of 107 data files with data size of 121 MB (compressed to 1 file, 5.67 MB). The research paper based on this dataset was published in Journal of Geographical Science, Vol. 30, No. 9, 2020.
