Abstract:

Based on the CFL-03 boundary layer wind profile radar real-time observations to obtain the 5-beam radial velocity (east, west, south, north, and center) data for five days before and after the landing of typhoons affecting Mt. Wuyishan from 2016 to 2020, and calculating the wind speed and wind direction data on each height layer, the Wind Profile Dataset during Typhoons over the Mt.Wuyi Station (2016-2020) was developed. The dataset is the data product on real-time sampling height, including horizontal wind direction, horizontal wind speed and vertical wind speed at each sampling height; the starting and ending detection heights are 60 m and 7080 m respectively, with a vertical resolution of 60 m below 600 m height and 120 m above. The dataset is archived in .txt format, with 11856 files, consisting of 3906 data files on 201614 Moranti, 4261 data files on 201709 Nesat and 201710 Haitang separately and 3689 data files on 201909 Lekima. The data size is 32.7 MB (compressed to one single file with 7.45 MB).Browse
