Abstract:

Shahu Lake, also called Yuhu Lake, is a natural brackish lake in Pingluo County, Shizuishan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, China. It is an ancient river lake, formed by depressions of the Yellow River through the flood erosion, the collection of ground water overflows and the recharge of precipitation and surface water. Its shape is irregular and controlled by the shape of the depression. The geo-location of the Shahu Lake is between 38°46'13"N and 38°49'42"N, 106°19'39"E and 106°23'6"E. The water area of the Lake is 10.85 km² and the length of the shoreline is 147.61 km. The dataset is developed based on the Google Earth images in 2021. The dataset is archived in .shp and .xlsx data formats, and consists of 15 data files with data size of 930 KB (Compressed into 2 files with 646 KB).
