Abstract:
In August 2018, the authors investigated soil and vegetation of Riganqiao Wetland Nature Reserve in Hongyuan County on Zoige Plateau. Three peatlands with different water tables were selected for vegetation community investigation, and plant samples and peat soil samples (0-30 cm) of peatlands with different water tables were collected. Each sample point was repeated for 6 times, and a total of 54 samples were collected. Vegetation community structure, phenolic compounds and soil carbon of peatland at different water levels were obtained through field vegetation investigation and indoor experimental analysis. The dataset includes: (1) geolocation and mean water table of the sample sites; (2) vegetation community data including community height, coverage, total phenols of aboveground plant, total phenols of plant root, aboveground and underground biomass; (3) soil data including total soil carbon, dissolved organic carbon, total soil phenols, water-soluble phenols, monophenols, diphenols and terpenols. The dataset is archived in .shp and .xlsx data formats, and consists of 13 data files with data size of 18 KB (compressed into one file with 14.6 KB). The analysis paper was published at Acta Ecologica Sinica, Vol. 42, No. 2., 2022.
