Abstract：
Longyangxia Reservoir is a large reservoir in the Upper Yellow River. It is located at the junction of Gonghe County and Guinan County, Qinghai Province, China. Its geo-location is between 35°45′23″N and 36°12′39″N, 100°18′28″E and 100°55′34″E. The reservoir dam was completed in 1993. The reservoir trended from southwest to northeast with water surface area of 366.93 km² and perimeter of 478.22 km. The dataset is developed based on the Google Earth images and the referenced maps. The dataset is consisted of 22 data files and archived in both .kmz and .shp data formats with the data size of 14.3 MB (compressed to 4.96 MB in 2 data files).
