Abstract:
Fusong Lushuihe Pinus Koraiensis Nuts Forest Ecosystem was designated as Case 36 of GIES. The case area is located in Lushuihe Town, Fusong County, Baishan City, Jilin Province, in the core hinterland of the Changbai Mountains. It hosts China’s well preserved natural Pinus koraiensis seed bearer forests, and Fusong Lushuihe pine nuts are China EU mutually recognized geographical indication products. In 2025, the town's administrative area was 855.58 km², with a registered population of 28 thousand. The video adopts a visualized approach integrating graphics, audio, and cinematography to demonstrate the multi party collaborative mechanism among government, academic institutions, enterprises and cooperatives, as well as the practical applications of Internet of Things technologies including satellite remote sensing, in situ survey, GIES ground station and open science. It reveals the superior ecological background, high-quality product, scientific operation model, vigorous local socio economy and profound distinctive folk culture within the case study area, serving as a practical case for coordinated development of ecological conservation and industry driven prosperity for local residents. The dataset is archived in .mp4 format, and a video duration of 4 minutes and 58 seconds.
