Abstract：

The spatial dataset of facility agriculture in Tibetan Plateau (2008, 2018) was developed based on the Google Earth images in 2008 and 2018. The result shows that the total area of facility agriculture in the Tibetan Plateau in 2018 is 94.27 km². From 2008 to 2018, the facility agriculture in Xining and Lhasa grew rapidly from 5.37 km² and 6.16 km² to 22.32 km² and 14.48 km², respectively. The dataset includes: (1) The spatial distribution of facility agriculture on the Tibetan plateau in 2018; (2) The spatial distribution of facility agriculture in Xining in 2008 and 2018; (3) The spatial distribution of facility agriculture in Lhasa in 2008 and 2018. The dataset is archived in .shp and .kmz data formats and consists of 43 data files with data size of 3.08 MB (Compressed to 6 files with 1.48 MB). The paper based on the dataset was published in Resource Science, Vol. 41, No. 6, 2019.
