Abstract:
Exuma Cays is part of Bahama Islands, located in northern of Atlantic Ocean. Its geolocation is between 23°23′11″N and 24°52′38″N,76°50′30″W and 75°17′32″W. The Exuma Cays is consisted of 1314 Islands and cays (the smallest island or cay is 32m²), including Great Exuma Island, Little Exuma Island, Great Guana Cay and Barraterre Island. Most of islands or cays are small. There are 43 islands, each of which is greater than 1km² and 391 islands, each of which is greater than 10,000m² in the Exuma Cays. The total area of the Exuma Cays is 349.37km² and the coastline is 1591.00km long. The biggest island in the Exuma Cays is Great Exuma Island with an area of 175.70km². The dataset is developed based on the Google Earth images and the referenced maps. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data format with the compressed data size of 8.22MB.
