Abstract:
Based on the national standard of industry classification and the 2012 year book of industry statistics and environment protection of Jiangning District, Nanjing, China, 199 industry types were identified into 27 industry company groups. The carbon emission intensity, water efficiency per unit carbon emissions, comprehensive index of waste emission intensity per unit carbon emissions, virtual water and embodied carbon of product were calculated to develop the dataset of carbon emission from 27 industries in Jiangning District of Nanjing, China. The result shows that there were obvious differences among different type of companies. The average carbon emission intensity of 27 types of industries was 0.35 t/104 Yuan. The dataset is consisted of three tables: (1) Essential data of carbon emission from different industries in Jiangning District, Nanjing, China; (2) Virtual water and embodied carbon of main industrial products of Jiangning District, Nanjing, China and (3) The comprehensive index of waste emission intensity of per unit carbon emissions from different industries in Jiangning District, Nanjing, China. The dataset is archived in one single file (.xlsx data format) with data size of 20.2 KB. The analysis paper based on the dataset was published at Tropical Geography, Vol. 38, No. 1, 2018.
