Abstract：
The Laccadive Islands are located at Laccadive Sea, center of the Lakshadweep archipelago. It belongs to the Lakshadweep District of Union Territory of Lakshadweep of India. Its geo-location is 10°2′15″N-10°57′32″N, 72°9′55″E-73°42′9″E. The Laccadive Islands are consisted of Bangaram Atoll, Agatti Atoll, Pitti Island, Kavaratti Atoll, Andrott Island, Kalpeni Atoll and Suheli Par Atoll. There are 18 islands or banks in the Laccadive Islands, including Cheriyakara Island, Tilakkam west Islet, Tilakkam east Islet, Koomel Islet, Pitti Islet, Kalpeni Island, Valiyakara Island, Cherlyam Island, Kavaratti Island, Pitti Island, Kalpati Island, Andrott Island, Agatti Island, Bangaram Island, Tinnakara Island, Parali Island. In these islands, Andrott Island is the largest one with area of 4.98 km². The total area of the Islands is 17.12 km², and the total coastline is 87.54 km. The dataset was developed based on the Google Earth and related maps and references. The dataset is consisted of 15 data files and archived in the .kmz and shp data formats with the data size of 535 KB (Compressed to 229 KB in two files).
