Abstract：
Lifou Island, also spelled Lifu Island, is in the Loyalty Islands Province of French New Caledonia in the southwestern of the Pacific Ocean. It is located at 104 km to the New Caledonia Island in the west. The geo-location of the Lifou Island is between 20°40'44"S and 21°11'12"S, 167°0'38"E and 167°27'37"E. It is the largest and most populous island in the Loyalty Islands, its area is 1142.26 km² and the coastline is 240.06 km. The city called We located on the east coast, is the main city and administrative center of the Lifou Island. The dataset was developed based on Google Earth images and related maps and references. The dataset is archived in .shp and .kmz formats, and consists of 24 data files with data size of 1.09 MB (Compressed to 747 KB in three files).
