Abstract：

The Pishan Oasis is located in Pishan County, Hotan Administrative Region, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China. The geo-location of Pishan Oasis is between 37°01′56″N and 37°46′8″N, 77°46′37″E and 78°53′56″E. The Pishan Oasis consists of 14 oases with a total area of 1,122.08 km² (Albers), total perimeter of 1,456.17 km (Lambert). And the largest oasis covers an area of 1,060.39 km² and a perimeter of 1,244.51 km. The rivers that nourish and maintain the Pishan Oasis include Pishan River, Sangzhu River, Sulaazi River, etc. The main stream length of the Pishan River, the Sangzhu River and the Sulaazi River is 122.97 km, 90.94 km and 77.57 km. The geo-location of the mountainous part of the catchment is between 36°38'42" N and 37°17'44" N, 77°29'11" E and 78°59'20" E. Its area is 5,467.37 km² and the perimeter is 465.14 km. The elevation of the mountainous catchment was divided into 11 types. The dataset is consisted of (1) boundary data of the Pishan Oasis; (2) river system; (3) boundary data of the mountainous part of the Pishan River Catchment; (4) elevation classification data of the mountainous catchment. The dataset is archived in .kmz, .shp and .tif data formats, and consists of 48 data files with data size of 40.4 MB (compressed to 4 files with 26.4 MB).
