Abstract:

Guangfeng District is under the jurisdiction of Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, and is located in the northeast of Jiangxi Province. It has subtropical monsoon climate, and is located in the low mountain and hilly area at the northern foot of Mount Wuyi, with acid soil. The cultivation history of Guangfeng MajiaYou (Majia Pomelo) can be traced back to the Chenghua period of the Ming Dynasty, named after the mother tree located in Majia Village, Gucun Administrative Village, Danan Town, Guangfeng District. MajiaYou is a local excellent variety with evolved over a long period of time in the specific geographical environment of Guangfeng. The GIES (Geographical Indications Environment & Sustainability) case dataset on Guangfeng Majia Pomelo subtropical low mountains and hills consists of boundary of the study area, data of physical geography and ecological environment, MajiaYou quality characteristic detection data, socio-economic data, etc. The dataset is archived in .shp, .xlsx, .tif and .docx formats, and consists of 171 data files with data size of 169 MB (Compressed into one file with 59.4 MB).
