Abstract:
Mauritanian Oasis, is located in the western part of the Sahara Desert, between 15°2'39″N and 25°14'31″N, 6°31'51″W and 17°3'45″W, with a total area of 10,855.64 km² (Albers). It is composed of 68 individual oases, including Senegal River Oasis, Nbeika Oasis and Atar Oasis, etc. Among them, the Senegal River Oasis is the largest one with an area of 6,933.15 km². The dataset was developed based on Google Earth 2020 imagery and related maps. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data formats, and consists of 17 data files with data size of 94.4 MB (Compressed into 2 files with 40.9 MB).
