Abstract:
More than 83% land of the Yalu River Basin is located at the mountain area, from the Mt. Changbai at 2745m to the West Korea Bay of the Yellow Sea at 0 m, the high gradient reaches 0.0032, and even 0.01 in some region. Based on the DEM data, the slope cluster datasets were developed, including 7 levels in degrees and 6 levels in per cents. The calculated data indicates that area, which land slope is deeper than 7 degree, covers 83.88% of the Yalu River Basin, 24.54% of which is deeper than 25 degree. The following is the detail information for each land slope clusters: <1°(1.40%),1°-3°(3.88%),3°-7°(10.84%),7°-15°(25.75%),15°-25°(33.58%),25°-35°(19.58%),>35°(4.96%)。<5%(5.05%),5%-10%(7.27%),10%-25%(26.19%),25%-50%(41.23%),50%-70%(15.30%),>70%(4.97%)。The dataset is archived in .adf data format with the data size of 74.4 MB (30.8 MB in compress).
