Abstract:

Yarkant River Basin is not only an important source of Tarim River, but also one of the main rivers in Tarim Basin. Based on Landsat image data in 1978, 1988, 1998, 2008 and 2018, the authors obtained the tempo-spatial changes of land use in the Yarkant River Basin in the past 41 years through image interpretation and analyzed its ecosystem services values, which consists of the variation dataset of land use and its ecosystem service value in Yarkant River Basin (1978-2018). The dataset includes: (1) the boundary vector data of Yarkant River Basin; (2) land use data in in 1978, 1988, 1998, 2008, and 2018; (3) ecological service value of different land uses in 1978, 1988, 1998, 2008, and 2018. The dataset is archived in 89 files in the .shp, .xlsx, and .adf formats with the data size of 13.2 MB (compressed to 4.07 MB in one file).Browse
