Abstract:
The One Country One Priority Product (OCOP) was launched by FAO Director General in 2021, it is country-led and country-own initiative. The big achievement of OCOP, up to 2025, is that there are 95 countries promoting 56 special agricultural products joining the initiative. The OCOP was also launched in regions in Asia-Pacific, Africa, Latin America, in Central Asia and Europe as well. The OCOP implementation is coordinated with three levels, International Steering Committee for global planning and coordinating, Regional Organizing Groups for regional implementation and National Task Force for national actions. Over USD 20 Million were mobilized for OCOP implementation during the last 4 years. There are 5 demonstration countries at beginning, and 15 demonstration countries follow supported by the South-South cooperation. 50+ workshops and capacity buildings, 15+ exhibitions, and 10+ webinars were held. In October 2025, “From Seeds to Foods”, the first global agriculture product exhibition was held successfully in Rome, Italy. Besides, OCOP is coordinated with South-South cooperation, Hand in Hand Initiative, Digital Village Initiative and Green Cities Initiative, as well as partners. All of these make the OCOP great achievement during the four years. The video is archived in .mp4 format with data size of 807 MB, and the speech lasts 11:33 minutes.
