Abstract：
Jiaohe City of Jilin Province is one of the main production areas of high-quality Ganoderma lucidum and broken-wall Ganoderma lucidum spore powder in China. Jiaohe City is located in the transitional zone between the Changbai Mountains and the Songliao Plain, and its terrain is predominantly low hilly. The case area has a temperate continental monsoon climate, with annual mean air temperature of 4.38 °C and annual mean precipitation of 710 mm. The soil is mainly black soil and is not polluted. The water quality is excellent, and is suitable for irrigating Ganoderma lucidum. Jiaohe Ganoderma lucidum is cultivated using oak cut logs as the growth medium, and the facility cultivation simulates the growing environment of wild Ganoderma lucidum. The cut logs provide ample nutrients for Ganoderma lucidum and increase the yield of spore powder. The testing results show that the contents of total triterpenoids and polysaccharide of the Ganoderma lucidum slices were 0.73~1.94 g/100g and 0.98~1.62%, respectively, being higher than the values specified in the “Pharmacopoeia of P. R. China” (2020 edition). The broken-wall rate, total triterpenoids content and polysaccharide content of the broken-wall Ganoderma lucidum spore powder were 99.2%, 9.16 g/100g, and 2.47 g/100g, respectively, exceeding the limits of “Jilin Changbai Mountain ganoderma lucidum spore powder” (T/YYTC 008-2024). Jiaohe City has a long history of Ganoderma lucidum cultivation, and has established a comprehensive industrial chain, spanning from strain cultivation, technical guidance, and enterprise repurchasing to deep processing for high-value-added products. The industry has evolved from traditional, extensive production and low-price sales to new models such as e-commerce live streaming and cultural-tourism integration. The case dataset consists of five groups, including the boundary of the study area, physical geographical data, product characteristics, management and socio-economy as well as history, and pictures of producing process. The dataset is archived in .shp, .docx, .tif, .jpg, and .xlsx data formats, and consists of 111 data files with data size of 92.5 MB (Compressed into one file with 42.6 MB).
