Abstract：
The Baa Atoll is one of the administrative atoll of Maldives, located from 4。48＇55〃N to 5。22＇9〃N, 72。50＇11〃E to 73。11＇31〃E, mid-west of Maldives. Its neighbors are Raa Atoll in north, Alifu Alifu Atoll in south, Lhaviyani Atoll in northeast and Kaafu Atoll in southeast. There are two atolls in the Baa Atoll, they are the South Maalhosmadulu Atoll and the Goldhoo Atoll. 105 islands are included in the Baa Atoll, including Olhugili, Hithaadhoo, Maamaduvvari, Kanifushi, Miriandhoo, Hulhudhoo, Maadoo, Eydhafushi, Kunfunadhoo, Maalhos, Hibalhidhoo, Dharavandhoo, Vakkaru, Hanifarurah, Aidhoo, Dhonfanu, Kihaadhufaru, Kihaadhoo, Hirundhoo, Veyofushee, Fares, Dhandhoo, Dhakandhoo, Fonimagoodhoo, Thiladhoo, Milaidhoo, Madhirivaadhoo, Kamadhoo, Landaagiraavaru, Anantara Kihava, Kudarikilu, Gemendhoo, Innafushi, Goidhoo, Fehendhoo, Fulhadhoo, Fulhadhoorah kaili finonolhu, Maafushi and Fahenfushi Islands. The total area of the islands in the Baa Atoll is 10.82km2, and the length of coastline is 133.30km. The biggest island in the Baa Atoll is the Goidhoo Island with the area of 1.65 km2.The dataset was developed based on integration among the Google Earth images and related maps and records. The data is archived in data format with the compressed data size of 338KB.
