Abstract:
Based on the NCEP/NCAR monthly average temperature data covering China, the statistical downscaling approach is used for near land monthly air temperature analysis. By integrating it with DEM, NDVI/MODIS and geo-location in a regression tree model, the aggregated downscaled monthly average temperature data in 1-km resolution were calculated from January 1, 2000 to December 31, 2010. Data validation using the in-situ data from 380 metrological observation stations of China in the same time period was analyzed; the data product of historical monthly temperature data of China at 1-km resolution was developed. The dataset is available for ecosystem analysis and modeling for China environment changes.Browse
