Abstract:

The dataset on aeolian sand dynamic process of Gobi surface is the data collection from the experiments on Aeolian sand dynamics process of Gobi surface in Dunhuang, Gansu Province of China in 2014. Besides the geolocation and photos data of the experiment, the observation on wind speed changes in different heights; wind speed profile data on 10%, 30%, 50%, 80% Gobi surface observed in the mobile wind tunnel, as well as the statistics and analysis data have been recorded in 12 tables in the dataset. The dataset is archived in kmz, .shp, .jpg and.xlsx data formats with the compressed data size of 5.16MB. The analyzing paper was published at the Journal of Arid Land, No.3.Vol.7, 2015.
