Abstract:
The Kadmat Island, also Kadmat Atoll, is located at Laccadive Sea. It belongs to the Lakshadweep District of Union Territory of Lakshadweep of India, and it is part of Aminidivi Islands. Its geo-location is 11°10′48″N-11°15′32″N, 72°45′33″E-72°47′24″E. It is separated from the Amini Island only 6 km at its southwest and from Kiltān Island 33 km at its northeast. The long shape island in northeast to southwest is 9 km long and only 500 m wide. Its area is 3.44 km² and coastline is 19.13 km. The Kadmat Island is located at the eastern of the Kadmat Atoll, the 10 km long Kadmat lagoon and reefs are in its west. The dataset was developed based on the Google Earth and related maps and references. The dataset is consisted of 15 data files and archived in the .kmz and shp data formats with data size of 23.8 KB (Compressed to 10.7 KB in two files).
