Abstract:
The Pitti Island is located at Laccadive Sea. It belongs to the Lakshadweep District of Union Territory of Lakshadweep of India, and it is located in the center of the Laccadive Islands. Its geo-location is 10°46′27″N-10°46′33″N, 72°31′59″E-72°32′8″E. It is separated from Amini Island 42.4 km at its northeast, from Bangaram Atoll 30 km at its northwest and Kavaratti Island 24.6 km at its southeast. The area of the Pitti Island is 33,185 m², and the total coastline is 690 m. The dataset was developed based on the Google Earth and related maps and references. The dataset is consisted of 15 data files and archived in the .kmz and shp data formats with the data size of 21.0 KB (Compressed to 9.39 KB in two files).
