Abstract:

Lake Manasarovar (Lake Manasarovar), also known as Lake Mafamu, means "eternal undefeated lake" in local language. It is located between 30°33′43″ N and 30°47′04″N, 81°21′51″ E and 81°36′44″ E, in Pulan County, Ali Prefecture, Tibet Autonomous Region, China. It is one of the three sacred lakes in Tibet, including Manasarovar, Namtso, and Yambdrok. It is located at the rifted structural basin between Gangdise and Himalayas. the water area of the Lake Manasarovar was 412.14 km², and the shoreline of the lake was 90.02 km in 2015. The dataset is developed based on Google Earth images (2015) and related maps in Tibet. The dataset is archived in .shp and .kmz formats and consists of 16 data files with a data size of 616 KB (compressed to 2 files with 243KB).Browse
