Abstract:

Amund Ringnes Island is located in the Arctic Ocean and North Canada. It is one island in Svedrup Islands of Queen Elizabeth Islands. The Amund Ringnes Island is 12.48 separated from Cornwall Island in the south, and 25.16 km separated from Ellef Ringnes Island in the west, and 41.85 km from Axel Heiberg Island in the east. The geo-location of the Amund Ringnes Island is between 77°47'10"N and 78°49'17"N, 94°49'31 "W and 98°25'7"W. It belongs to Nunavut Region of Canada. The total area of the Amund Ringnes Island is 5329.09 km² based on the Albers projection, and the coastline is 652.48 km based on the Lambert projection.The dataset was developed based on the Global Multiple Scale Shorelines Dataset Based on Google Earth Images (2015) and the relevant Canada maps. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data formats, consists of 15 data files with data size of 1.08 MB (compressed to two data files with 778KB).
