Abstract:
Analysis dataset of COVID-19 spatial and temporal distribution with prevention and control effect under the population mobility in China (2020.1.19-2.22) is developed based on the daily epidemic data released by provincial Health Commissions of China (Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao data are not included) and Census data. Using the weighted average method, we calculate the average distance from all cases to Wuhan each day and the average number of days from the confirmed date of all cases in each province to the starting date, which is January 19, with the number of daily confirmed cases in each region as the weight. Provinces are classified into three groups according to their spatial adjacency to Hubei province: first-level neighbor, second-level neighbor, and other provinces. Daily changeinepidemic indicators in each group is then calculated. The dataset includes the following data of each province (no data cover Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao) from January 19 to February 22: (1) the number of newly confirmed cases, the cumulative number of confirmed cases, the daily new incidence rate, the cumulative incidence rate, and the average number of days from the confirmed date to the starting date; (2) daily average distance to Wuhan with the number of newly confirmed cases, the cumulative number of confirmed cases, the daily new incidence rate, and the cumulative incidence rate as the weight respectively; (3) the number of newly confirmed cases, the cumulative number of confirmed cases, the daily new incidence rate, the cumulative incidence rate in each geographic groups. The dataset is archived in .xls data format with a data size of 122 KB. The research paper related to this dataset is published at Journal of Global Change Data & Discovery, Volume 4, No. 3, 2020.Browse
